Breaking Free from Societal Expectations

In a society where heteronormativity is deeply ingrained, it's not uncommon for individuals to feel pressured into conforming to traditional gender roles and sexual orientations. However, this can lead to feelings of suffocation and disconnection from one's true self. As someone who identifies as bisexual, I've had my fair share of struggles with societal expectations.

Growing up in Rajasthan, where conservative values are deeply rooted, it was even more challenging for me to come to terms with my sexuality. The pressure to conform to traditional norms was immense, and the fear of being ostracized by family and friends was a constant companion.
